Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for preparing Select List of 2 candidates and Wait List of 2 candidates for the post of Stenographer ( Higher Grade ) in the Office of the Registrar (Administration), High Court of Bombay, Nagpur Bench, Nagpur in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300 34800 + G.P. 4400/and

other allowances as admissible under the Rules. 3 % of the posts are reserved for class of persons with disability as per High Court Notification No. X2319/

71, dated 20th November, 2009

ELIGIBILITY
1) The candidates must not less than 21 years and more than 33 years of age. However the maximum age limit shall not be applicable to High Court/Government employees, and 38 years in case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class specified for the time being by the Government of Maharashtra, as on the date of advertisement.

2) Possess University Degree. Preference being given to candidates possessing Degree in Law. However, this condition will be relaxed if the candidate is already working as Stenographer (Lower Grade) for not less than 5 years in the High Court or any other Court or Tribunal or in the Office of Advocate General or Government Pleader.

3) Possess Government Commercial Certificate Examination or Examination conducted by Government, Board or I.T.I., for atleast speed of 100 W.P.M. or above In English Shorthand and 40 W.P.M., in English Typing.

4) Possess Computer certificate Diploma/Decree in Computer Operation Course of minimum six months duration issued by DOEACC, CDAC or MSCIT or University.
